A topic of great interest to me as well! I really believe in #2 especially with being able to communicate vision which sounds simple but have learned that not everyone has it.If you don’t have vision then a person is just managing vs. leading. Vision is getting staff inspired about how their role (no matter how big or small) is contributing to something bigger/better (journey/destination) vs. focusing on just the task at hand. Ditto on #1, #3 and #7 but agree with them all.
